ALZHEIMER'S & DEMENTIA CARE GROUP operates specialist care centres with private and shared rooms providing 24 hour nursing care for mid to frail residents.
We pride ourselves in having facilities that focus on the needs of each individual in an attractive, well maintained environment. Regular entertainment and social activities are provided for our residents. Physical, psychological and social care is intended for physically and mentally frail, ageing elderly.
We accommodate a total number of 100 residents at the 3 different homes and employ 40 staff members working in shifts.
AD Care is committed to providing the highest standard of care and support to all our residents. Our patients are cared for in an environment appropriate to their needs, where the priority is to preserve their dignity and promote their independence.
The Ad Care facilities are close enough to essential community activities i.e. churches, shopping centres, and hospitals.Branches in Centurion (2km from Unitas Hospital) Lynnwood (4km from Wilgers Hospital), Equestria (800m from Wilgers Hospital), Wilgers (1.8km from Wilgers Hospital), Pretoria North (2km from Medi Clinic), Paarl (Cape Town opening soon).

Specialist Nursing / STAFFING
The Director of Nursing ensures that staff are aware of all the residents’ needs and that the highest possible standard of care is administered. Specialist 24-hour nursing services are provided and overseen by registered nurses and supported by care assistants. The skill mix and number of nurses are based on the assessed needs and dependency of the individuals receiving care at any one time, although the core numbers will remain the same. Additional expertise can be made availableas and when required such as incontinence, tissue care, stoma and diabetes nurse specialists. Others may be called upon if required.

VISITORS
- Residents are allowed to go out for days/weekends and/or holidays.
- Visitors/family can visit at any time and have to sign in on arrival.
- Relatives/friends are encouraged to participate in the care of the resident.
